Planer's post editor is designed so you can create content for several networks at once, without repeating work. Here's a tour of all its parts.
Open the editor
You can create a post from:
- The New post button in the dashboard.
- A specific day on the calendar.
- The media library, starting from a file you've already uploaded.
Write the content
- Choose the accounts you'll publish to.
- Write the caption. You can use emojis and hashtags.
- Add media: images, video or a carousel.
Each network has its own character limits and formats. Planer warns you if something doesn't meet the requirements before you schedule.
Per-network settings
The same content may need different details depending on the platform. From the editor you can:
- Change the caption for just one network.
- Choose whether it goes out as a post, reel or story.
- Set the first comment (for example, for your hashtags).
Preview
Before saving, check the preview for each network to confirm the content looks the way you expect. Pay attention to:
- How the images are cropped.
- The line breaks in the caption.
- The video thumbnail.
Save or schedule
When you're done, choose an option:
- Save as draft: keep editing later.
- Schedule: pick a date and time.
- Publish now: it goes out immediately.
Working as a team? You can leave the post ready for someone else to approve before it's published.
